ShoreBank has gotten some great press for this - here's a clip from one of the Cohousing Now! issues: Sustainable Industries (National) - 3/23/09 Co-housing carries less risk Lenders view cohousing as a smart investment, "there are not as many co-housing projects as there is demand" A number of news articles have talked about various banks, financing, and cohousing projects. Here's a link to the "In-the-News" archives with 5-pages of links to the past articles, including the one above, that have appeared in Cohousing Now! and on the Cohousing Website home page: http://www.cohousing.org/in_the_news Including reprints of several of these articles could be used effectively to "make the case" for bank loans - either for building or mortgages.
