When putting together a list of coho-friendly banks it's important to
understand if it's a loan for the development of the overall project or
for individual mortgages.

ShoreBank Pacific is a lender in WA/OR (but based in Illinois) that is
familiar with and supportive of cohousing from the development (overall
project) standpoint. They are working on a mortgage product for
individual homes/condos but have yet to put it to market. They are
financing two projects in Portland that I'm aware of - Columbia
Ecovillage and Daybreak Cohousing. They are a sustainably-oriented bank
and they get the economic/social/environmental benefits of cohousing.
For more info see their website.
