National Cohousing Conference Date conflicts?

Last year, immediately after Coho/US announced the 2009 National
Cohousing Conference dates (fourth weekend in June), we started
getting complaints and comments about conflicts with other major
events.

Obviously, every possible date conflicts with other large scale events
that some would also like to attend. Because of the frustration over
conflicts of a number of more active Coho/US folks, we will be
avoiding the last weekend in June.

The association also exhibits at some events, e.g., Green Fest, to
introduce cohousing to new folks and would prefer to make this more
feasible by not tying up many of the most committed.

Since we've now gone annual, its been suggested that Coho/US set a
regular, recurring weekend, e.g., 1st or 2nd or 3rd weekend in June.

Here are the dates being considered, right now, for 2010:

1: June 4-6
2: June 11-13
3: June 18-20

Do you know of any major recurring events that Cohousers might be want
to attend on any of these weekends? Or other ways to get at this
question?

Thanks for any help
