The December issue of the Sierra Club magazine has a two page article (page 64 of paper version). It in a 'department' called "Comfort Zone" whose suggestion form says: Gimme Green Shelter Share your ideas for ecofriendly living spaces What's your idea of a green living space? Enter the name and location of the residence, office building, or other sustainably constructed building that you think we should highlight in Sierra's "Comfort Zone" department, and tell us why in 50 words or less. The article can be found at: http://www.sierraclub.org/sierra/200911/comfortzone.aspx While of course noting the energy efficiency of the houses, it also says: "... Nubanusit stands out because its residents can do more eco-good as a group than they could as individual homeowners. " "The neighborhood offers less strenuous social opportunities too." [and describes ] " an impromptu parade on the property. " Fred -- Jun 22: Robert Reich's Rx for real health care reform http://www.salon.com/opinion/feature/2009/06/20/healthcare/print.html Fred H.
