At Tierra Nueva we have had a lovely Winter Solstice ritual with our
children every year. It's a lantern walk that happens at dark on Solstice.
The children parade around the community with candle lanterns and sing to
all of their neighbors. For the first couple of years, we made lanterns with
the kids for these walks. This year we decided to end the walk at the C.H.
for a meal and then our annual white elephant gift exchange.
