MAKING IT HAPPEN: A SENIOR COHOUSING FACILITATION WORKSHOP

A workshop for anyone excited about taking a leadership role in creating a
senior cohousing community.

This is a unique opportunity to work with the best professionals in the
field to make your cohousing dreams a reality. Chuck Durrett, Jim Leach,
Katie McCamant and others will bring you five days of experience, tools, and
invaluable coaching focused on you ­ the participants ­ and your
communities.

The seminar will include experience, tools and coaching with the field¹s
leading experts, hosted in Nevada City, home of a 34-unit intergenerational
cohousing and nearby Wolf Creek Lodge, a senior cohousing now under
development. 

The workshop combines group discussion on the issues of aging and methods of
creating a supportive community, with the details and logistics of cohousing
development. The workshop is appropriate for a variety of individuals and
interests: cohousers, professionals in cohousing or senior living
environments, policy leaders, builders, developers, community organizers or
medical professionals.

Workshop cost: $1250 if paid by March 14; $1450 after March 14.

We will need 15 sign-ups by March 14 in order to plan the workshop.
