Reconciliation also can mean the act of a continuous stream of "best fits" coming from an adaptive social organism of social organisms, as it were, which heads off head-butting in advance. Visualize a Venn diagram where the subsets overlap a lot and are largely contained within the whole, and the process at work is moving more toward more reconciliation in this sense, rather away from it; that is, toward the common center or sweet-spot. A kind of fuzzy logic system in a continuous state of adaptation to a dynamic state of scoreless mutualism.
