For those who are in or near Seattle, there will be two sessions on cohousing and Panama: September 23 at 2 p.m. and October 14 at 1 p.m. Join others who have experienced cohousing and Panama for a discussion of Cohousing and Panama. John and Jayne Leet are developing a cohousing village for retirees in Panama, where they have spent 6 months each year for the past 6 years. Cohousing is the reinvention of the village, a place where residents can age in community. See pictures and hear stories of Panama and learn about cohousing. For some information before the sessions, or if you can't make it, go to http://www.facebook.com/PanamaCohousingVillage The location is the West Seattle Unitarian Universalist Congregation at 7141 California Ave. SW, Seattle. The village is in the formation stage, but moving along nicely. The goal is to begin construction by the end of 2013, and complete construction in 2014. Questions and comments are welcome.
