Cohousing-L Mailing List: meal programs and choice of glassware

If you have a meal program that uses a commercial quick-cycle dishwasher, I am 
seeking advice on your experience with choice of drinking glasses. We are about 
to purchase tumblers and a taller 12 ounce glass size for our long-awaited new 
dining hall and have been considering the Duralux brand glasses from France 
which are tempered glass and can last for decades. However, I have also read 
that if they get squeezed or bumped in a dishwasher they can break and if they 
break they will shatter into thousands of pieces, making cleanup a huge hassle.

If you have experience with Duralux or would recommend another brand, please 
email me.
