At root, the biggest difference between freedom and culture is that the 
latter was invented by self-righteous busybodies who spend too much time 
thinking about what other people are doing and not enough about what they, 
themselves, are doing. Labels don't really matter that much, as they can be 
meaningful or misleading, and are commonly used more to manipulate than to 
communicate. Language is a blunt instrument.

But there are endless mixtures of cooperative and dictatorial (meddling) 
behavior.
