Registration is half full already - don't miss your chance to join us! We're Having a Cohousing Party and You're Invited! Cohousing communities in the Northeast are gathering Sept 28-29 in Cambridge MA for a weekend of connection, camaraderie, and community. . If you're brand new to cohousing, this is your chance to ask questions, meet people who are living in built projects, and explore what might be a good fit for you. . If you're part of a forming group, you'll get to ask veterans how they handled the same situations you're in, get technical assistance from experts, and meet people who may be interested in joining your project-this promises to be a fabulous recruitment opportunity. . If you're already living in cohousing, this will be a chance to meet the cousins you never knew you had, swap stories, tell the newbies what it's really like, and perhaps get help with a vexing problem or two at home. There's something for everyone! The Fellowship for Intentional Community will be operating a bookstore of relevant books and videos (just like at national cohousing conferences) and there will be plenty of time around the edges for one-on-one conversations. Summit: Saturday (Sept 28) will include 1) meet and greet at Cambridge Cohousing, 2) three workshop slots (with some targeted for new folks and others for existing groups), 3) lunch, 4) Networking and tours, and 5) an evening of conviviality with lite buffet dinner served at the two communities. Sessions will be split held at Neighboring Cambridge Cohousing and Cornerstone Cohousing. Registration for the Summit will be capped at 75. So make sure to register early! http://www.cohousing.org/2013_ne_party Tours: Sunday (Sept 29) is a day of open house tours of completed cohousing projects in eastern and western Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. http://www.cohousing.org/2013_ne_party_tours Come for one day or come for both!
