We are inviting you to a gathering of people interested in the application
of dynamic governance
​/​
sociocracy ​
in cohousing and intentional communities. It will take place the weekend of
October 24-26 at Cornerstone Cohousing in Cambridge MA.



Who I hope will come:

   1. people who live in communities that practice dynamic governance
   2. people who live in communities that are exploring adopting dynamic
   governance
   3. people who are interested learning about the application of dynamic
   governance in cohousing and other forms of intentional community.


Goals:

   1. Contributing towards more communities adopting dynamic governance
   2. Contributing towards existing dynamic governance practice becoming
   more effective
   3. Build a body of knowledge/experience/practice
   4. Create a network of support for dynamic governance advocates
   5. Have fun


Design

   1. How we spend our time will depend on who comes.
   2. We will share stories of how sociocracy is being applied in different
   communities.
   3. We will do "clinic" sessions on organizational design, facilitation,
   measurement and evaluation, information access (use of Google Drive or
   alternatives)...
   4. A possible session on nonviolence communication and other
   communication tools in support of community and good governance
   5. ?

Registration and Cost

   1. Registration system is not ready yet. But I'd love to know you want
   to come. Send me an email!
   2. Cost will be low and voluntary. More on that too at a later date.
   3. Housing is on your own.
