Cohousing-L Mailing List: "Creating a Life Together - Practical Tools..."

I've gotten in touch with a small group in Grass Valley, California, who is
in the very early stages of defining their vision for a community. The
group leader has asked all of the participants to read "Creating a Life
Together - Practical Tools to Grow Ecovillages and Intentional Communities".

I've just started it this afternoon, and each chapter ends with a real-life
story. I love that these stories come from the communities that I see
mentioned here on the mailing list: chapter 1's excerpt came from Winslow
and chapter 2's from Duwamish (misspelled "Dumawish" in the book :)  )

As I'm reading through the book and it gives advice on planning,
communication, decision making, financial and legal considerations, etc. my
mind goes to the conversations and information here. So I just want to say
thank you to all of you who share your time and expertise with the rest of
us!
