To residents, soon to be residents and the caring community around us
 
Recent nurturing conversations with my neighbors and others living in Cohousing 
communities have compelled me to express my gratitude widely.  

I am grateful for the vision we hold, the values we honor and the actions we 
take.  I am grateful for the support we extend to one another each day, the 
smiles we give unconditionally and the lessons we share.  I am grateful to 
those who bring newspapers up to our doors, offer to share rides and who bear 
witness and offer a listening during challenging moments.  Those and so much 
more feel like love made visible.  

Getting a bit more personal — I am grateful to Fred (for holding the space for 
and making this listserv a safe place for us to be in community), to the board 
and staff of the Cohousing Association of the US (http://www.cohousing.org) for 
keeping us informed, inspired and so much more, and to the outstanding 
professionals who educate and serve us, and hold our collective hands as we do 
the work to build, nurture and maintain our communities. Thank you to my 
neighbors. 

My inner critic wants me to delete this and move on to something more 
comfortable!  I am clicking send anyway. :)
