Hi Nancy, At Windsong we minimize differences between renters and owners. Both have equal decision making authority in meetings (except perhaps the AGM, I'd have to check that as it's never come up), both pay the same strata fee, both have the same expectations. I find this works extremely well - many of our renters eventually become owners, and so can do so without having been "lesser" community members first. Even those who don't become owners probably have better buy-in to the community as they know they are equally respected and valued in the community. We don't cap the number of renters.
