RoseWind cooked meals typically have about 25 adult diners, plus a couple of 
kids. Ranges from maybe 18 (when people are out of town etc) to 35 (with a 
popular cook and participation by the people with teens). 

With pantry items and garden items, it is usually quite feasible to do this for 
the $100 or so budget. Any meals under the income from the meal, the surplus 
goes into the pantry budget. We've been doing this for about 13 years and it 
seems to work well.
