Cohousing-L Mailing List: Keywords for Governance

Just to round out the discussion on keyword for governance, which some people 
don’t really understand:

I was reading an article on sociocracy in the Harvard Business Review today. 
the keyword/category they use is "Organizational Structure."

I think that is the best word(s), People understand it and while sociocracy 
includes other things, the unique feature for cohousing is the structure. 

Sociocracy is based on decision-making by consent but is more than consensus. 
And almost all communities are functioning by consent now.

The real question I think new cohousing communities need to focus on, and which 
many people are asking, is “How do we organize ourselves?” The issue is how to 
be inclusive and and collaborative and still move forward effectively.
