what Nubanusit Neighborhood & Farm developed before we moved in and
it has worked successfully to date including dealing with poison ivy,
planting of new trees, etc. We are very tolerant of variation among
landscaping elements and maintenance ....sometimes with gritted teeth but
respect our individuality. For example I have a professionally designed
English garden and my neighbor has a natural yard that is planted with
native plants including weeds and that is mowed once a year. We both
reviewed our plans with each other and when her weeds creep across into my
yard I ask her to pull them! I relish in showing it to visitors and
prospective buyers as a visual example of respecting each other's
individuality.
