Cohousing-L Mailing List: Personal Landscaping Maintenance Guidelines

We are an established cohousing community with small individual plots on 12
acres of land in North Carolina. The community has been developed and
occupied for 15 years now, and has seen 2/3 of the original homes with new
members, with only 1/3 being the original founders. Our lawns/yards are
established and we are wrestling with how to handle maintenance, or lack
thereof, of individual lawns/yards. We don't want to "reinvent the wheel",
so we are looking for what other communities have done to
establish guidelines or expectations of individually maintained yards.
