Cohousing-L Mailing List: Input for Including Low-Income Residents

After working for quite some time toward a co-housingproject in Bloomington, 
Indiana, we are still short a number of committedresidents before we can move 
forward withbuilding. The idea of including a percentage of low-income members 
has beenpresented, the possible financial assistance coming from grants, 
individualapplication for assistance from a local governmental agency or 
partnership witha non-profit such as Habitat for Humanity. 

Do any of you have experience in setting this up and haveadvice, direction? We 
would appreciate any input.
