Our volunteer system is becoming obsolete as fewer members are willing or able to do ladder work. Some of the work requires climbing to the second story to reach the higher gutters. We have a concensus decision that each member is responsible for an equal share of the time and/or expense involved in getting the job done, but we haven't worked out the details. We don't want to reinvent the wheel. How have other communities gotten this task done? We won't consider avenues that expose us to liability; how do we remain sensitive to those who are financially and physically unable to take on this added expense? (There are more people in this situation than there are non-physical support jobs to do.) Thanks, Kim Clark Winslow Cohousing
