Cohousing-L Mailing List: Judy Baxter, Monterey Cohousing Community. RIP

I just got back from a bonfire in memory of Judy Baxter, a founder of
Monterey Cohousing Community in St. Louis Park, MN, about the 5th
community established in the USA. Judy died recently. She was also
involved in the early days of the Twin Cities Cohousing Network. Some
refered to her as the mother of cohousing here.

Judy was also one of the first subscribers to Cohousing-L and
has been subscribed ever since - 28 years. She posted over 300 times,
mostly in the 1990s.

At the gathering tonight people took turns telling their memories of
Judy in the 30 degree weather distanced around the fire in Monterey's
courtyard.  Judy will be missed.
