Sharon, There is zero “compensation” for owning a permanently affordable home except that they can afford to purchase it in the first place. The only controls the selling price and the income of buyers. Buyers need to understand that in this program their home is no longer appreciating so if they begin to earn more money they will want to identify other investments strategies for the future.
