Regarding Joel's query about guest rooms, specifically shared bathrooms. Here
at Arboretum Cohousing in Madison, Wi, in one building we have two guest rooms,
each with its own bath, and in another building, a suite with two bedrooms,
one bath, and a sitting area that includes a futon couch. My guess is that
most of us will book our guests in the rooms with private bath before we book
the suite (tho' the suite is great for families). We are a 40-unit community,
and before covid we had busy times (esp summer) when 4 guest weren't enough but
plenty of times when no rooms were booked. Residents sometimes offer their
extra bedroom when needed or even their unit when out of town.

Subject: [C-L]_ Guest Rooms

Dear Friends,

We are looking at various options for our Common House Guest Rooms in our
"forming" community! Several of the Common Houses I have visited have had
just two guest rooms and a shared bathroom. Is this sort of the norm, or
are there other configurations folks have designed/

Thanks so much for your input.
Yours, Joel
