Joel,

I am curious - what are the intended advantages of a custom app to perform
these functions? It seems extremely likely that some bug would emerge and
you'd need to seek paid help to fix it. Support is a critical feature of
software development. What benefits or characteristics are you seeking
beyond what something like a shared Google Calendar and spreadsheet suite
can provide? Existing software essentially has support built in.
