Cohousing-L Mailing List: Architectural visualizations

This morning there was a post to cohousing-L held for admin review
that came from:

 Aimir CG is an architectural visualization company based in China,
 delivering consistent art quality 3D renderings and animations
 worldwide.  https://www.aimircg.com/

I chose not to distribute the post which was clearly just looking
for business and seems unlikely to be of much interest to us.
Those interested can go to their web site.

I looked at their web site which has a number of multi image
displays about projects they have worked on.  Usually bigger or
higher end projects than cohousing communities.

I wonder if any proposed cohousing communities have used such
services or how much they have created graphics to help potential
members imagine the proposed community.

I think one of the reasons proposed Bassett Creek Cohousing
(~2016-2019) ( http://mn.cohousing.org/bcrk/ ) failed is that it
failed to attract enough members which in turn was partly because we
failed to convey what we imagined the site and area could become.
Across the street from the proposed site was a derelict industrial
cleaning plant, it is is now a 100 Unit Artspace residence
( https://www.artspace.org/ ) and a new office building.  Plans for
the those developments were in progress at the time but site visits
conveyed a very different feel.  We developed drawings and a had a
preliminary architectural document for our proposal for the parking
lot across the street, but maybe if we had a better presenation we
could have attracted more people.  You have to imagine it before you
can build it.  Of course the transformation across the street had not
happened and was not a sure thing at the time so proceeding on the
expectation that it would have been a risk. There were other factors
too of course.
