I agree with Edwin.
I tried solar lights in my previous home here in town and found them to be
practically unusable.
Our lights are low to the ground, on a post about 2 feet. The light is
directed DOWN to light the path and does a good job. They come on when it’s
dark and shut off in the morning automatically.
