Richard, In our Bylaws it states that there are to be five members of the BoD and all must be owners. We have modified that in our "House Rules" to read in part "The board will consist of five and no more than seven members, the majority of which must at all times be unit owners." This change was made 18 years ago. I am a renter and permanent member of the community. I am on my second term on the Board. During my first term on the Board I was President.
