Hello everyone

Over the last few weeks, I have received emails (thank you!) and several of you
have asked about Addressing Microaggressions in Community.

‼️FIC is hosting Addressing Microaggressions in Community webinar TODAY (March
8th) at 11AM Pacific / Eastern: 2PM (Virtual Event] ::  Register here
https://www.ic.org/event/addressing-microaggressions/

Join author, organizer and consultant Crystal Byrd Farmer to learn how you can
mindfully address microaggressions in your community.

About the event…. A microaggression is a subtle but offensive comment or action
that causes a marginalized person to feel like the “Other”. These small acts
can have a big impact, causing harm and contributing to a culture where
marginalized people feel unwelcome. In Addressing Microaggressions in your
Community, you will gain a greater understanding of microaggressions and how
you can create a more inclusive community.

During this session, you will be provided with the tools you need to recognize
and respond to microaggressions in your everyday life. You’ll learn about
microaggressions related to race, gender, sexuality, disability, and other
aspects of diversity. You’ll also learn practical strategies for addressing
microaggressions through calling in or calling out, and gain an appreciation
for the nuances of speaking up for marginalized people whether they are in the
room or not.

Join us for this 1-hour webinar gain a greater understanding of
