SHORT-TERM RENTAL IN PORTLAND OREGON CO-HOUSING COMMUNITY

I would like to rent my cohousing apartment on a short-term basis
(September 10-November 7th), since I will be traveling during this time.
This would be a great opportunity for someone who is cohousing-curious to
try out cohousing for a couple of months. It would give you a wonderful
peek into cohousing life, and whether it is a good fit for you.

WHAT: 1 bedroom flat (corner unit) on ground floor. (The unit actually is a
two-bedroom apartment, but the renter will have use of only one bedroom.)
Peaceful backyard with dogwood trees and flowering shrubs. The unit has a
shower/bathtub, and is fully furnished with TV/DVD player, high-speed WiFi,
electronic keyboard, refrigerator, stove, microwave, and washer.
Kitchenware and dishes are provided. The unit is one of 30 units at
Daybreak Cohousing, which is located in North Portland.

WHERE: Daybreak Cohousing is close to bus lines and Max station (N.
Killingsworth). It is a 15 minute bus ride to downtown and 5 minutes from
Interstate-5, close to the Oregon/Washington border. Portland is a bike
city, and we are close to streets where bikes are prioritized. The renter
would have use of a large Common House (mail boxes, living areas, dining
area, kitchen, laundry, bicycle storage) and lovely landscaped grounds with
patio and rooftop gathering areas. Weekly community meals for a small fee.
Portland is in northern Oregon, close to the border with Washington State.
Located close to many hiking opportunities (e.g. Columbia Gorge, Mount
Hood) and not far from the Pacific Ocean. A few hours from Bend or Eugene,
Oregon.

REQUIREMENTS: Renter would pay reduced rent, water plants, and participate
in Daybreak Cohousing activities. References and a lease are required.
