My 3-bedroom, 1&1/2-bathroom ground floor 2-story unit is 1290 square feet, 
fully furnished in an Asian / Scandinavian style with in-floor radiant heating, 
a well-equipped kitchen, and a small private garden which opens to a shared 
community lawn. Downstairs are the kitchen, dining room, living room, and work 
area with a desk and a half bathroom.  Upstairs has the 3 bedrooms and full 
bathroom.  
The main bedroom has a queen-size bed.  The 2nd bedroom is furnished as a 
spacious office, ideal for working from home with a desk overlooking the 
community meadow and a large screen to connect to your computer.  The 3rd 
bedroom is a multipurpose room with a library and home fitness equipment.   
Renters will be asked to sign a written lease, share financial information, and 
provide a one-month security deposit.    
Living at FrogSong Cohousing offers a rare opportunity to be part of a 
multigenerational, supportive community while enjoying the privacy of your own 
home.  FrogSong was founded 20 years ago and continues as a collaborative, 
sustainable community.  FrogSong is 100% solar with parking and 20 EV charging 
stations (not included in rent) for electric vehicles. We have an organic 
garden, permaculture landscape with 79 fruit trees, a common house with a large 
kitchen, dining room, guest rooms, laundry room, children's play area, fully 
furnished wood workshop, as well as an outdoor children’s playground, BBQ, 
table tennis and hot tub.    
We gather in the common house 2-3 times a week for optional common meals, 
community meetings and various activities like movie or game nights.  We spend 
time together outside working in our vegetable garden, doing landscape work or 
getting together for spontaneous outings and walks. 

Neighborhood:  FrogSong is located in downtown Cotati, within walking distance 
of Oliver’s grocery store, restaurants and public transportation, including the 
Smart train. Sonoma State University is 3 miles away and offers many public 
musical and other events. Sonoma is renowned for its good wine, scenic 
coastline and redwoods, yet is only 55 miles north of San Francisco and 30 
minutes from the coast.

The Ideal Renter:  Will be a vaccinated, boosted non-smoker(s).  We would 
especially welcome someone (an individual, couple, or parent and child) who 
is/are familiar with living in community and interested in exploring 
co-housing.  To get the most benefit from living in community, renters may 
participate in community meals and other activities.  Sorry, but no pets.

Future Rental Opportunity:  It is likely my home will be available again for 
rent from October 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025, as I will be traveling extensively 
over the next year, so let me know if you are interested in those dates as well.
