Last home sale we had here in Massachusetts the realtor definitely acted
that way. I live across the walkway so ended up following potential buyers
to their car to hand them info on the community and to offer common house
tours.

I do not believe there is any rule, just that realtors don't want us
"interfereing". But I haven't looked it up.
