I believe that The Triangle (Durham, Raleigh, Chapel Hill areas) in NC might have the highest density of Cohousing in the US. 14 cohousings were recently invited to attend our first Triangle Area Cohousing Event. Almost 50 folks from 10 communities gathered for a potluck and discussions. Participants could choose 2 topics for 45 minute discussions on: Meals Getting Things Done Finance Dealing With Conflict Governance It was a roaring success, a dozen folks signed up to help plan our next gathering, and the group brainstormed 16 possible topics. We'll meet again in early 2025. Everyone left energized, with new ideas to share with their neighborhoods.
