Bozeman (Montana) Cohousing included 2 Affordable units under the City of Bozeman's Affordable Housing program. These were subsidized by Bozeman Cohousing, our development partner, and the City. They are deed restricted, and allowed appreciation of home price is controlled. We also built 3 Studio units over some of our garages that, while not technically Affordable units, were priced commensurate with their small size, so were the most affordable option for single buyers. If you want to find out more, please contact me at gary.hellenga [at] gmail.com, and I'll put you in contact with someone from our Affordable Housing Committee, who can provide more details.
