Cohousing-L Mailing List: Thanks to all for Holiday Mixer Success- and Plea for Sharing Sample Budget

Hello!
I want to thank everyone who joined our little New Year's Mixer for forming
groups last week.  It is wonderful to have that sisterhood of shared
experiences celebrate the highs, commiserate with the lows, and note that
we have support out there and a lot to celebrate. Thanks to all!

And while I have you.  Greek Village Cohousing is turning this year to
improve our post-move-in operations budget.  The only "Greek" figures
available are not for cohousing, as there is no cohousing here- yet!  We
are using hotel budget figures for a similar number of units--- not the
same as cohousing at all.

We hoped a community that eats reasonably often (we plan to eat 4 times a
week) would be willing to share their yearly budget figures with us so that
we can improve this projection.  How much does it cost to heat and cool
your Common House?" How much do you budget for continuing education?  These
are the questions we'd like to know.

Is anyone out there willing to share their budget from last year with us so
that we can merge our dissimilar Greek hotel budget with cohousing in
another country's budget and hope to have something that approximates what
expenses we are looking at once we move in?
