CohoUS’ next virtual event takes place in just under two weeks!


On March 19, 12pm - 1:30pm MT join us for Matters of Membership.


We spend a lot of time and attention on attracting new members, but what 
happens next? Do you have a structured orientation to help them (and you) 
understand what cohousing is about, especially senior communities? What about 
new homeowners buying a unit for sale? Is your community involved in the sale 
or watching from the sidelines?


This 1.5 hr long Zoom event will be facilitated by members of the CohoUS 
Seniors in Cohousing Committee. The session will explore how communities 
utilize orientation approaches to educate future buyers/residents to cohousing 
and ensure that it will be a good fit in terms of expectations and hoped for 
living arrangements. We’ll also share strategies for handling resales and 
issues around inheritance.
