PS: we are also inviting input re: appliances, including dishwashers. and one of the things we did that we are happy about is to have one fridge only, and one stand up freezer. The full size fridge has served us well. the full size freezer is not in the kitchen, it is in….the pantry, former library, former kids room…………. Dear Co-Cohousers, Here at Cantines Island, our Family Friendly Cohousing Community, in residence since 1997, it is time to renovate our CommonHouse kitchen. We’d love to hear from you about your kitchen: the good the bad…… What did you do that worked out very well?? What do you wish you had done differently?? Very much looking forward to your input, Ruth Hirsch Cantines Island Saugerties, NY You’re invited to join us for potlucks weekly “In an age of acceleration, nothing can be more exhilarating than going slow. And in an age of distraction, nothing is so luxurious as paying attention. And in an age of constant movement, nothing is so urgent as sitting still.”
