Cohousing-L Mailing List: Looking for Cohousing families with older kids

Is there anyone at your community with older kids (age 8 and up) who has 
outgrown their home size and are looking for a larger cohousing unit? Or 
perhaps you have someone on your interest list?

Cohousing ABQ in Albuquerque is starting construction May 2025. We have sold 23 
of our 25 homes. The remaining two units are a three-bedroom, 2 bath (1455sf) 
and a four-bedroom, 2.5 bath (1,734sf). If possible, we are looking for larger 
families with children for these homes. Currently, most of our 12 kids are ages 
8 and younger, with the majority being age 5 and under. 

But one of our founding members has a 13-year-old boy and 11-year-old girl 
(they were much younger 6 years ago when the project started). We desperately 
would like to bring in some kids in their age cohort, so ages 9 and up. 

We know that our best leads are folks already interested in cohousing (or 
already renting in cohousing or have previously lived in cohousing). So we 
thought it might be worthwhile to reach out to all of you. Any leads you might 
have that you could send our way or mention this opportunity to would be most
