I like our tables (can seat 8 or 10 in a pinch) but they are heavy to move.  
The idea of tables with lockable wheels that would be easier to move around is

I strongly recommend having at least some chairs that people can hang a
cane, a tote bag, or a purse on without it sliding off. (Some visitors will
have a purse.) Ie, they have finials at each side of the backrest. About
1/4th of our dining chairs have those and they are very handy.
