Cohousing-L Mailing List: Do you know Durango is?

We’re working on our marketing here at Heartwood Cohousing. We are located near 
Durango, Colorado, which is in the southwest part of the state.

Some of us think we should say that  we’re "near Durango, Colorado” in our 
marketing and others think we should say that we’re “in southwest Colorado”.

The fear is that we know where Durango is and probably most people in Colorado 
know where it is, but for other people in the country, Durango is unknown.

For those of you that are from far away, do you think most people know where 
Durango is or have a positive association with it?
