Hi Neil,

We just got new patio chairs. I can't tell you how they'll hold up, but
they're aluminum and fit your price point.  Invoice with detailed info
is attached.  I haven't heard any complaints about their being too hot.

The chairs that look like rattan or bamboo from Costco have not held up.

Over the years we've learned that some folks really need arms on the
chairs to help them get up, and others prefer chairs without arms.  You
can also squeeze more people in when the chairs don't have arms.  (We
mostly have round mesh patio tables.)

The person who ordered them thought the two styles would match.  They
don't, but I don't think people are bothered by that.  We have quite an
assorted collection from purchasing over the years and having people
bring chairs with them when they move in.  The person who ordered the
chairs also decided the ones with arms weren't comfortable for her back,
so she bought (on her own dime) mesh back supports.  I can get you info
on those if you're interested.
