Cohousing-L Mailing List: straw bale and co-housing

I've just joined this mailist and also recently been asked by a person
interested in local co-housing group - "Are there any cohousing communities
building straw bale housing?"  I know I've heard mention of interest in this
in the past, but I have no knowledge of specific cases of this.  I am very
knowledgeable about straw bale construction, having led numerous workshops
and wall-raisings, written extensively on this subject and been involved in
both testing and code issues in the SW US.  I am also interested in
cohousing, as well as other things such as sustainable development, and
appropriate technology.  I'm in Tucson, AZ and would be glad to share my
