Note sure exactly what you are asking for so I'll take a guess about getting results, or how to be effective but not workaholic. I am a pile person. I get maybe 40-70 information requests a month via mail. On top of email, phone calls etc. Not a problem. I keep things in piles, email to be answered in a "to be answered folder". When I have a couple of spare minutes, I dig into the pile, which is always close at hand, deal with 2-3 requests, then get back to work. I often use my lunch time in thirds, 20 minutes for eating/relaxing, 20 minutes for a walk, and 20 minutes to process info or other projects. I tend to be an early riser, and thus get thirty or more minutes to write, or work on stuff. I NEVER watch TV. Well, Ok, I did watch 30 minutes of TV so far this year but you get the drift, TV is a HUGE waste of time and brain cells. I am consistantly amazed that people can spend hours and hours with such stuff. Then they complain they have no time! The first ten minutes of my day when I wake up, is usually spent organizing activities for the day in my head. I also compose music in this time, think up last minute meeting activities, and generally find its one of my most creative periods, just laying in bed, fully rested, with my brain in gear. And of course, I prioritize stuff, with kids and family first, so I gotta go, my kid just got out of the bath and its time for some killer parcheesi..... Rob Sandelin Sharingwood Where a Barred owl perched directly behind where I was building a playhouse today, then got hassled and harried by the resident, nesting coopers hawk, who let it know, in no uncertain terms, that this is MY space and it aint big enough for the two of us. Lots of screeching and hooting back and forth between them. An amazing Sunday sermon, on the most beautiful spring day yet......
