We visited Terra Nueva cohousing in Oceano, CA last summer and they had a TV
room with a very large TV. I have no idea how much it was used.

We don't have a TV here, but we have had people bring their's down (they
keep their's on a cart) for special events. We have also projected movies in
the CH and on one of our lawns in the summer. I would like to have a cable
connection in the living room, a regular size TV and vcr on a cart available
to be connected for special events: election, baseball playoffs, Superbowl,
marathon viewing of TV specials, etc. I will probably advocate for that in
the future here. BTW, I think we need basic cable because it provides
excellent reception.
