Don't go setting up any new domains quite yet! The Cohousing Network is
more than willing to host such documents on our www.cohousing.org
website, and is pursuing initiatives to (a) make it easier to find
documents, websites, materials, organizations (coho and otherwise),
people (amateurs and professionals) and list threads relevant to topics,
and (b) make it easier for people to contribute such materials and to
provide their own guides to the material that's out there -- possibly
funded as member services, with access available to TCN members (join
today!). In fact, the process leading to this is something TCN's Board
will be discussing this very weekend, at our Face-to-Face gathering in
Tucson at Sonora Coho.

In my view, what The Cohousing Network should be all about is sharing
Best Practices... so that as a movement, we all can learn from one
another's experience. We've certainly been including looking at the
technical awareness as part of our evaluation of candidates for Executive
Director that we're hiring... not that we expect the new E.D. to be
hand-coding the web pages, but to be able to direct the organization's
efforts to take full advantage of the exciting technologies and get our
staff, volunteers, sponsors, and partners involved in working together on
'em.

For anyone who's interested in participating, with documents,
organization of them, or technical skills to put these pieces together,
please contact me off the list... a subgroup of the Board's
Communications Team will definitely be meeting to pursue this in the VERY
near future.

within the 30-day repair warranty each time, so it's in the vendor's best
interest to actually solve the problem, since we're not paying!
