 Yesterday's New York Times (2/20) had an article about a family in East
Hampton, New York who had installed a Smartroof and was selling energy
back to the power company. The initial cost is expensive but the
long-term perspectives for energy independence looks promising.

Any other new possibilites for energy independence?
