In addition to  having a computer back up available, we have a  
community DSL line that is very fast and an intranet. The Mac in our  
office is set up with a printer that all computers can print to from  
the units -- a Brother with duplex printing, 1200 dpi. The DSL cost is  
about $8 a month per unit and is part of the condo cost. We also have a  
web site that comes with email addresses for those who do not have an  
email address otherwise.

This makes it possible to expect people to read email at least  once a  
week. We try to circulate anything necessary for the Sunday meeting by  
Friday (target is Wednesday but rarely met) so people who only read  
during the week will see it. Our policy on email is posted:
