quoting.  Before my editing, this message quoted a digest which contained
messages that quoted digests which... 

PLEASE DELETE ALL EXCESSIVE QUOTES - those that are not needed to set the
context for your reply.  BTW the folks who have to wade thru all that
extra stuff to locate truely new writing are digest subscribers.  

Digest subscribers are the ones who most need to edit quotes and are the
ones who benefit most from doing so...

Glenn (and others who have posted messages whose format I have commented
on)  dont worry about or apolgize on list for your postings.  Often they
are simple mistakes.  But please try to take more care in future postings.

I have done some research after reading Sue Pniewski's response about
Waldorf Schools.  Needless to say I was initally very concerned since my son
is in a Waldorf School and since we are Jewish.  The site that you refer to
Sue is basically a right wing fundementalist Christian organization.  They
go as far as "quoting" a Waldorf teacher as saying that all of the Waldorf
Curriculum comes from "Lucifer".   While there has been some debate and
controversy about some of Steiner's statements, the overall consensus was
that he was not racist and was strongly aganist anti-semitism.  There was an
extensive study done by the government in Holland regarding this issue which
states the same.  I think we need to be careful about assuming a website is
speaking the truth just because it is a website.  I am still interested if
anyone has any further information about cohousing communities that have
partnered with Waldorf or other schools.
