I am new to the list and to the Cohousing community.
A small group of us are in the process of creating a new Cohousing community in 
Clemson, SC.  This is a University town of about 20,000 local full-time 
residents and about 16,000 students.  We have the lakes and mountains of the 
Blue Ridge foothills with four distinct, but mild seasons.  Our group will be 
faith-based.  It is inspired by the Roman Catholic tradition, but is open to 
members of any Eucharistic communion --- such as Lutheran, Episcopal, UMM, etc. 
This foundation in shared prayer and in a collaborative hospitality and retreat 
ministry will; I hope; add to the power of consensus decision-making.  Having a 
common spiritual base and mission will enhance our quality of life together.
