I am trying to find a semi-established or completed community in the
upstate New York area. It seems the few I have found are either communes
where almost all the members are 20ish and just want to do the minimun to
survive and party all the time or there are co housing communities where
the houses are a couple hundred thousand dollars. I am looking for a place
where I do not have to own any property and can justify my existence
through a combination of work and pay. I love working in gardens and
outside landscaping and also love to cook. I am looking for people who are
in their 30s-50s and finally woke up to the fact that there is more to
life than being a gerbil on a treadmill. Anyone out there have an idea????
Fred
